Guanacaste Fishing Seasons

September, October, and November are usually the best months for marlin.  The best months are usually December through April for Sailfish, but they are caught fairly regularly all year round.  Big 200+ pounders come and go all year, but June through September are the best months.  May through October is the best time for Mahi Mahi or Dorado that can be found inshore.   Wahoo and snappers are good any time of year.   Roosterfish is a challenge and put up a great fight any time of year with June through October considered the best months.
